Cafe hopping in JB

Went cafe hopping in Johor Bahru over the weekend. Very impromptu, but I decided to make a video on it! Armed with my failing iPhone6s, I struggled a bit here and there trying to capture nice moments during my day trip. Honestly, I have never really made a proper video like this before and have always wanted to try making one so the trip was the perfect opportunity for me to test this out haha.

Since I'm pretty lazy as usual, I'll just let the video and photos speak (mind you, I spent hours on the video anyway - as a newbie at making videos - so it's not like I put in zero effort lol)


Eh I hope the video above is okay. Seems like video editing is a good skill to have, maybe I should try it out again (when I have the chance to) next time? :)

Can you feel how hot the weather was from this photo? It was literally burning omg. Oww my eyes.




The two skimpy pieces of sandwich that I waited almost an hour for... don't wanna fault them for it but do they really need that long to make these sandwiches?? Not bad though, I guess.


I love clouds so much?! Fluffy clouds always make me feel better about everything :)

Tried prawning for the first time ever yesterday! It was an interesting experience, the feeling when you manage to catch a prawn is just thrilling. I guess I can kind of understand why fishing is a hobby for some now. Though I probably won't do it again unless persuaded, because I felt bad witnessing the struggles of those prawns as they fight for their lives after getting caught. It's sort of relatable - we're all like those prawns. In life, when all we want is just survive and enjoy but shits hit us in the face. Sometimes we fight and win. But other times, it's just useless, no matter how much we struggle. Damn this is getting emo. いい天気だね。

Good flavours

I used to blog frequently, like aeons ago. There was even this period of time in which I updated my blog daily - can you even believe it. Not sure how I did that, but now looking back, man was I focused on keeping the promise (that I made with myself on a whim) to do so! Really miss having a proper outlet to rant about things on my mind, which is why I decided to create another blog. Properly, this time. Hopefully it doesn't sink anytime soon. Albeit already having a Twitter account where I pour my most random thoughts out on, 140 characters in a post just isn't enough I guess. This will be my main platform for communicating my inner thoughts and reflections, along with more rants acting as a tool for brushing up my writing skills. That's all. Let's see how it goes. またねー
